Thank you for using Bon Pain. This policy describes how the app handles information.
Bon Pain does not collect, store, or share personal data with anyone. All information you save in the app stays locally on your device.
Your settings (your starter's name, baking day, reminder times) and any active sourdough cultivation or baking sessions (steps, timers) are stored in iOS standard storage (UserDefaults) on your device. The data never leaves your phone. If you uninstall the app, everything is removed.
Bon Pain sends local reminders for feeding, setting the dough, and baking. The notifications are generated entirely on your device — no servers are involved. You can disable them in iOS Settings.
Active timers appear as Live Activity on the lock screen. The content is handled by iOS and stays on your device.
The app links to two flour products at Mathem.se. When you tap them, Safari opens and you leave the app. The links may contain affiliate tags via the Adtraction network — if you purchase, the app receives a small commission. You don't pay more. Mathem and Adtraction may set cookies according to their own policies; read their policies on their respective sites.
Bon Pain uses no analytics services, no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs. No accounts, no login, no cloud service.
The app is rated for all ages (4+). We collect no data about anyone.
