Grimsholm Smart Garden

As a provider of high-quality watering equipment and robotic lawn mower accessories, Grimsholm has established a strong presence in the European home gardening market. Looking to expand its offering into the growing smart home segment, the company developed a connected water valve using Matter over Thread. The technology provides reliable connectivity further into the garden, where traditional Wi-Fi coverage can be limited. To complement the new product, we were asked to design and develop native companion apps for iOS and Android. The apps give users flexible control over garden watering, whether through scheduled routines, sensor data such as soil moisture, or simply turning the water on when needed, even while away from home.
