About the project

Elk enables artists, musicians, and producers in different locations to collaborate and perform live — even when they are miles apart. At Intunio, we contributed by further developing Elk’s React application, working with both existing and new APIs to strengthen the platform’s functionality and user experience. By combining Elk’s ultra-low-latency technology with our expertise in modern front-end development, we helped create a platform where distance is no longer a barrier for musicians to play and create together.

Improving the user experience

We worked closely with Elk’s design team and implemented the front-end in React. One of our main focuses was to refine the overall user experience — making it not only more responsive but also more visually engaging and intuitive to use.

Enhanced audio and video synchronisation

We improved UI elements for real-time feedback during mixing and ensured smooth synchronisation of audio and video, as well as reliable chat functionality. Our goal was to deliver a seamless experience that allows musicians to collaborate effectively, no matter where in the world they are.
